Many fund raisers are fixed and non-flexible. The fund raising possibilities with the Mutual Benefit Networks (MBN) fund raisers are only limited by your imagination.

Our experienced team of fund raising professionals has many years of experience in helping various organizations with their fund raisers. Based on that experience we know that every organization is different and has a unique structure that they require to make a fund raiser successful.

With that in mind we thought that this would be a good place to show you two of the unique fund raisers that are possible with our program.

Internet based fund raiser

The internet has grown to levels that most people would not have imagined it has done so over a very short period of time.

To this end many organizations now communicate and inform their supporters using e-mail. The MBN fundraising system works perfectly for organizations that regularly communicate to their membership using email.

How the internet based fundraiser works:

Using e-mail, you communicate the news about your new fund raising initiative to your supporters. It is important that you state the objective of the fundraiser (example; Stratford Hall Schools objective is to  raise funds to purchase books for their library). Here is where you have a couple of options.

Option one

is to explain what you would like them to do right in the e-mail or news letter. An example of the language that you may want to use can be found on the Stratford Hall landing page.

Option two

is to create a landing page like the one Stratford Hall has done. Stratford Hall has offered an incentive discount of 10% for all those that purchase.

Variables

Every group is assigned a coupon code. This code is IMPORTANT this is the way that we identify your supporters and make sure that your getting paid. Your groups coupon code is entered when the shopper is checking out in the field that reads: Do you have a promotional coupon code? In Stratford Halls case their supporters code is StratfordHall.

Based upon the dynamics of your own group you can either offer a discount or not. The choice is yours. The advantage of offering a discount is that it allows your supporters to go outside of the group.

An example of this is when doing a fundraiser via e-mail you can ask your supporters to contact their friends and relatives by e-mail. You now offer them a discount and they support your cause and receive a benefit at the same time.

The Toys fund raiser

In the industry this is also know as the double play fundraiser. This program works like this, there exists a number of organizations that the fundraiser is based upon delivering Toys to underprivileged children.

Your groups fund raising goals may be different but you for example could team up with a group that's goal were based upon delivering toys.

First you would identify such a group inform them that you would like to support them. You would support them by having your members purchase Toys and have us drop ship them to the charity in question. They support you by purchasing the toys and using your code when that purchase is made. All three groups win. The group helping children gets support from your organization the children receive the toys and your organization wins by receiving the proceeds from any purchases made.
